The monograph investigates the contribution of one of the most famous Italian artists Titian (Tiziano Vecellio) to the Renaissance of the early 16th century and his powerful influence on the art of 17th century. According to the source, Titian was one of the first truly European artists, whose significant achievement is the revolution of the color and its prosperity and whose art was highly evaluated by contemporaries. Titian was playing with colors in his artworks, combining them in the new way. The author came to the conclusion, that Titian’s early emphasis on shade evolved into the art of a mature painter discovering dullness, darkness and shades. One of the admirers of Titian noted, that he paints with the colors of the nature. Many of the artist's famous works were painted in his middle ages. The source mainly emphasises on Titian’s portraitures and illustrations to mythology and poesia. The author notes, that Titian’s portraits express psychological mood of the character painted. One of the artist's remarkable features is the portraying soft and tender lines of hands as well as plump and smooth outlines of silhouette and face, which makes Titian’s characters more tender and dreamy. One of the greatest muses of Titian is also described. Venus - goddess of love was artist’s inspiration, so she often appears on many of his artworks as the main character.

The author studies art of the Renaissance period in Italy in 16th-17th centuries through the artworks of famous painters of the period. The article is more focused on comparing and contrasting two main art styles of that time - Venetian and Florentine. Artists from the opposite sides of Italy percepted the illustration of nature in different ways, which resulted not only in different appearances of the artworks but in the difference in very concept of the art. Florentine artists position art as term related to design, which was viewed as the vital beginning and the primary way for making an artwork approximately nature oriented. In the opposite side, Venice artists with Titian among them, claimed that color and the way it is applicated are crucial factors in painting images with the look of life. A debate between the two positions worried theorists in addition to artists and caused a global controversial topic to discuss. The author studies different artists and compares the techniques and dominant features of their artworks. It contains contrasts of the art features of Giorgio Vasari, Florentine father of the visual arts, Filippino Lippi, Bronzino and Titian. The last one is famous for the revolutionary usage of color.
