Chef Movie Review
Chef shows that food truck cuisine can be effectively countered the idea that gourmet hegemony. Good food truck has fully-developed logistics (purchasing the product from the supplier, the optimal price/quality), as well as perfectly optimized process for preparing signature dishes, by reducing the cost of these meals actually able to set prices considerably lower than those of competitors, without prejudice to themselves. The menu should reflect a certain well-established concept, or be a reflection of a particular national cuisine, so “the same old tried-and-true menu instead stretching beyond the expected” (Wloszczyna). Chef opposed snobbish kitchen that can be considered as a challenge for society.
Food truck cuisine will require further strengthening of ties between farmers and citizens to improve the effectiveness of market systems and their saturation with modern technologies. So millions of people have access to a healthy, diverse and affordable food. Such specialization harmoniously accompanies the trend towards diversification at the national level due to more and more clearly the transition of agriculture to commercial production and development of international trade in food raw materials. Food truck cuisine make it possible to exercise tight control over purchasing and inventory and study consumer tastes. This provides tremendous competitive advantage in terms of cost reduction, quality and maintain traceability in case of detection of defects or problems with safety.
