Wild animals are remarkable living beings, which never stop amazing people of all ages. Each day, in the era of mass media and the Internet, it is highly probable that any individual will read, see, or learn new information about certain heroic achievements of wild or domestic animals. On the other hand, it is important not to simply acknowledge the existence of animals because of their acts of courageousness that they might have engaged in, their extraordinary skill of searching and rescuing people in need, being closely connected to the human beings as service animals, or caring for and grieving for their own species in their natural habitat. People have to acknowledge animals as being remarkable creatures merely for what they are naturally. Horses and otters might not have a lot in common from the first glance; nonetheless, their cultural perceptions, significance in the life of human beings and attitudes towards these animals in the past and in the present day reveal a vast amount of similarities between these animals.
The creatures of the wild can be regarded as startling and completely different from human beings for who they are and how they live. Animals follow their natural instincts as the basis of their day to day living. For instance, usually, they search for food as a necessity for their existence, not for their enjoyment. On the other hand, the interest of humans to wild animals, including otters and horses, goes far beyond simple admiration. People occupy the natural habitats of wild animals in order to be closer to nature and wilderness. As a result, an animal usually follows its instincts given by nature to defend their space or in the hunt for food. In these cases, people usually put the responsibility on the wild animals and take all possible measures to isolate wild animals from human society (Alves, 2016). In addition, people have an inclination towards trying to bring wild animals under control by the means of domesticating them. The process of domestication extensively involves horses; as a result, horses can rarely be seen in the wild. People repeatedly search for wild or unusual animals in order to make them their pets, and this includes otters. Nonetheless, sometimes the adverse outcomes, which the process of domestication can result it, are not fully understood. Wild creatures will always be inclined towards and be worthy of living in their natural surroundings, and people have to comply with their space (Alves, 2016). The members of the general population have a duty to understand that they use the natural resources of the planet in common with other living beings and we all have to learn how to live together in peace.
