The Innovation
Arabia 9 Congress was held on 7-9 March 2016, under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMSU. The main theme and slogan of the conference are “Accelerating Innovation towards Sustainable Economy”. The Middle East fosters the mental innovations and unique ideas in order to develop the economy better in future.
Innovation Arabia 9 is the main place where business leaders, researchers, academics and other professional community discuss and exchange ideas and future trends for the Arab innovations world resulting in the development of sustainable economies. Quality and Business Management is an important part of the Innovation Arabia 9 Conference. It includes debates between different business disciplines and the discussions of abilities to gain possible value. The Quality Management Conference focuses on services quality and innovations, quality management in 2-Services being the most up-to-date topic in the modern world of economy. The intelligent quality tools and methods, advance quality approaches and the latest developments in quality management were the areas of debates. (Innovationarabia.ae, 2016)
This paper focuses on the Quality and Business Management part of the second day of the conference, especially on panel discussion Ecosystem for Sustainable Entrepreneurship, supervised and moderated by Dr. Philippe Bouvier and with other renowned speakers as:
Mr. Jack Kramer, Ellucian Senior VP – Customer Perspective;
Mr. Wissam Otaky, Group CFO;
Mr. Mohamaad Humaid Al Marri;
Mr. Samer Choucair, VP Crescent Enterprise (Innovationarabia.ae., 2016).
During a panel discussion, the agenda included the best practices and the abilities to implement innovation in the UAE`s health industry, especially the importance of Green Economy to Arab World with a supervisor Dr. Mayada Moussa with the Faculty members and School of Health and Environmental Studies (Ecosystem, 2016). The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention presented the Best Practice in Implementing JCI Standards/MOH Success Story. Dr. Mishgan AlAwar, Director, Research & Studies Center, Dubai Police Academy took part in the conference, discussing the main issues of the UAE`s success in the environmental practices. Jack Kramer in his keynote speech noted that people have all resources and high technologies to advance higher and secondary education, economy and to improve the environment condition (Kramer, 2016).
The pace of the education system dramatically differ from the traditional education that we had 10 years ago and it is still changing every day due to innovations and high technologies. The speakers highlighted the importance to maintain the high level of entrepreneurship to get a success in any sphere of business. On the second day, it was presented a book “Entrepreneurship and Small Business”, aiming to show the new approaches and ways to create and implement innovations for GCC entrepreneurs as well as to show the efforts to enhance the country`s research capabilities in the different aspects in order to meet the corresponding requirements.The book attracted audience especially a high attention from the Congress members.
