Adoption of the American Formulae of Socialization

Stalin primary interest was securing Soviet Union influence in Eastern Europe with the aim of weakening Germany to eliminate it from menacing Soviet Union (Hyde). In the reading, I agree with the step and the idea of the united state that aimed at enhancing Democracy and capitalism in the trial to bring prosperity to the nations in those times. The chapter does not make it clear why Nation-state emerged as the prevalent political organisation around the whole globe. An explanation of why Europe failed in their target is clearly outlined hence an expectation the Britain and the united state could be left on the board to govern Soviet Union (Hyde). After being mentioned and their leader focus Britain failure or success in their mission is not explained nor mentioned. According to the text, I think resisting decolonization of the British Empire being a principal aim was well sorted out after the collapse of the European empire. Hence, they had no great intention in taking over the leadership of the Soviet Union.
Western Europe and America later succeeds consolidating the nation states. The colonial countries that had lead to the war used to take minerals and valuable goods from the lands they were collaborating and transport them toothier states for their personal economic development. The reading is related to the previous week discussion in that all are in the focus of uniting the society towards focusing on the elaboration of the nations and attaining independence of the colonized countries. Nationalism in the days leads to the establishment of centralized cities for governance where people could migrate to these cities for job search and these who were employed in the public offices.
