The paper aims at analyzing the management problems that a business currently faces in order to provide recommendations for ensuring the long-term success of an organization. Dough Zone Dumpling House is the organization that was chosen for the analysis. It is a restaurant located in Washington. The restaurant offers the visitors the best dishes of the Chinese kitchen that are very popular in the United States. Dough Zone Dumpling House can be defined as a very popular place for local people as well as tourists from many European countries. However, despite the popularity, the restaurant faces a number of management challenges that can impact the long-term success of the business. In order to identify these challenges, the interview with the Chief Executive Officer of Dough Zone Dumpling House was conducted. Jerry Dough, the Chief Executive Officer of Dough Zone Dumpling House, has been holding this position since May 2014. The restaurant was founded in 2014 so that Jerry has been the only CEO of the restaurant. That is why during the time of leading Dough Zone Dumpling House, Jerry managed to develop an organizational culture in which employees are encouraged to be self-motivated. However, this approach does not contribute to the development of the business in the long-term. That is why the organization faces a large number of difficulties on the way toward staying competitive in the long-term in a high-competitive industry.
