Internet Café, also known as cybercafé, is an informal restaurant offering access to internet and computer games. The business opportunity is in large part facilitated by growing popularity of internet use among UAE population. In 2016, total population of the country made up 8.58 million people, and 8.81 million citizens were active internet users (Miniwatts Marketing Group). Thus, 91.96% of UAE population actively use internet that creates an opportunity to attract customers to new internet café. In addition, 44% of UAE population prefer using internet on laptops or desktops (Miniwatts Marketing Group), consequently, it would be beneficial for them to enjoy reliable internet access in comfortable atmosphere of the café.

Before developing a certain strategy for the Internet Café, it is necessary to identify major objectives of its functioning. For the first three years of operation, objectives of the company are identified as follows:

Key to success of the establishment is to successfully combine services of a traditional coffee shop and internet access services. It will be achieved through establishing informal, cozy, modern and innovative atmosphere where customers will be able to relax and enjoy pleasant pastime. The establishment will be positioned as a place where customers can socialize with their friends, enjoy playing games or surfing the web by themselves, or even find new acquaintances that have similar interests. The environment of the Café will be comfortable and welcoming for every internet user and gamer regardless their experience or particular interests.
