Poor health practices are embedded in the motives, attitudes, and beliefs of people since it is difficult to persuade people to take part in activities that relate to maintenance of their health. The media campaign
have been disillusioned as an effective approach to changing the behavior of people in society. The paper explores the essence of mass communication in promoting health services in society through the campaign, marketing, and develop an approach in improving media efforts. Marketing ideas, programs, products, and services are developed to improve the health services.

The public health organization use media communication to create a behavior response that reaches a wider audience; thus, help in the promotion of health. The promotional messages are designed to reach above
70% of the population to avert health crisis (National center for Health Statistics, 2011). Also, it should be noted that 10% of the population are not educated, suspicious of innovation, ill-informed, and have a backward
perspective. Therefore, media communication is imperative in increasing knowledge in the society. Public health officers face difficult challenges to address the concerns of society towards new treatment approaches owing
to lack of awareness. Lack of media communication affects the ability of society to respond to negative behaviors that risk health of people (National center for Health Statistics, 2011). For instance, educating the
public on high cholesterol diets, smoking, and inadequate exercise takes time to be understood.
