US Policy: Trump

The article may be less of reality and more of wishful thinking. Donald Trump Americas president may have won because of political correctness which as described by Sally Kohn as having good manners and being polite. However, Donald Trump presented himself as one who resisted political correctness .One could simply imagine it as the highly privileged and entitled, discriminating those that still have not progressed according to the modern society. In a case of political correctness, one may be punished by simply not acknowledging that there are only two genders that are the male and the female. These people are viewed as wrong since they are considered to be insensitive to the transgender community.

Most of the people who voted for Trump are Leftist who did not see it as a big deal since they believed that one should be told if their words are hurtful so that they do not get bent out of shape. The problem with the leftist is that they usually sort people into different identity groups. The group with the less educated white males was mocked mercilessly and they also got punished since they were not up-to-date. They also accused them of being racists and then got Lena Dunham to tell them how terrible they were. Leftism has also led to a lot of problems; Bill has come out to admit this. In a recent show, he admitted that he did something wrong in treating George bush , Mitt Romney like threats to the entire nation .Due to this, he lacked the opportunity to treat Triumph in a more serious manner. He had accused all of them of being racist such that when a real racist came the statement had already lost its credibility. The article has very useful information about the possibilities of why Donald may have gathered a lot of votes (John Wilson 1-39). This is because the citizens required a president who would be against political correctness since they believed each had the right to express their opinion on different issues.

Second Amendment

When Donald Trump was asked about his opinion on the second Amendment that guaranteed one the right to carry firearms (Supreme Court case District of Columbia v. Heller (554 U.S. 570), 2008), the nominee said that his Supreme Court nominations would be pro-life. On the other side, Clinton also called for the Supreme Court to also protect the second amendment and this can be done by questioning the decision made in 2008 in the District of Columbia v. Heller case. She disagreed with the decision made by Heller as it overturned a law that placed the restriction on citizen’s right to own guns as it rejected any possible regulations. However, the citizens according to my opinion should be allowed to carry licensed firearms for their personal safety.
