Positive Attitude Towards Work
As this was a research paper, collection of data was a daunting task. I had to conduct both primary research and secondary research. Primary research was difficult because; I had to go to various workplaces, and interview different employees about their attitude at their workplaces. I faced a couple of challenges such as finding unwilling employees, most of them stated that they were busy with their work to provide me with a chance to interview them. For others, because they were unsure of my intentions, provided me with false feedbacks i.e. I felt that they did not have a positive attitude towards their work, but there was no way that I could prove my intuition. It was difficult to analyze and state categorically whether the efficiency of the employees at the workplace was motivated by their positive attitude, or it was contributed by fear of consequences if they were unable to complete their assignments on time. As attitude is a feeling, it is very difficult for one to measure it in terms of a physical basis.
To cope with these problems, I relied more on secondary data i.e. research that has been conducted by other people. I used different journals to be able to see how a positive attitude at the workplace can influence efficiency and better results at the workplace. This helped me create an argument, which I feel was strong enough to have a positive influence towards the people reading my article. The easiest thing for me as I worked on this paper was coming up with a hypothesis. The reason for this is that; I developed it from the topic of the paper i.e. Positive Attitude at the Workplace. I had understood the topic, and therefore, I knew the angle that I was going to undertake when I worked on this paper. The strongest part of my paper is when I talk about how positive attitude at the workplace, acts as a determinant in ensuring that employee performance improves. This is brought about by having leaders who treat their employees well. Treating the employees positively motivates them to want to work for the company. In the paper, it emphasizes more on ensuring that the employees perform an honest form of work. This will motivate them to work better because they will feel that their work is appreciated. Towards ensuring that I have affected my readers, I ensured that I used different theories, which would show the readers that I conducted research, and quoting authors who are better versed at this topic, to validate my research.
As I proofread my paper, I first came across various grammatical errors such as failure to punctuate my paper as it should be. I also noticed that I had various errors when it came to the use of different tenses in the paper, and I had to correct these issues. However, as I went through my paper, before turning it in, I realized that the …
