Social & Environmental Responsibilities of the company SWIRE (only in Miami)
Firstly, Swire Properties has held a noticeable view of Miami’s future. “We believed in the area’s unique international character and unparalleled environmental attraction, and strived to create world-class live, work, and thrive developments that take full advantage of these strengths” – said creators of Brickell City Centre.
In order to keep track of environmental impacts, they control them through Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) database and their senior management are regularly updated on incidents and progress through our Sustainable Development Steering Committee and the Swire Group Sustainability Committee. The ways in which their property development and management activities may impact the environment include greenhouse gas emissions from electricity used in the buildings; waste generated in the operation, construction and demolition of buildings; water used in building operations; noise pollution and impacts to air quality.
